Sustainability is our Responsibility

MRP Solutions takes the obligation to be a sustainable entity very seriously and as a plastic cap manufacturer in the packaging industry, we have an extra need to be socially responsible.

Our sustainability initiatives start with our products and penetrate everything we touch from the community to our employees and the environment. Our product design and production processes consider solutions that are not only business-friendly, but also environmentally-friendly.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) 

Bigger than just sustainability, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are an increasingly popular way to evaluate companies. 

  • ENVIRONMENTAL criteria consider how a company performs as a steward of nature. 
  • SOCIAL criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers and the communities where it operates. 
  • GOVERNANCE deals with a company’s leadership, executive pay, audits, internal controls and shareholder rights.

MRP Solutions completed the EcoVadis scorecard evaluation process. The EcoVadis scorecard enables a single assessment to meet the often demanding requirements of customers and stakeholders. Following a thorough application process, EcoVadis evaluates and verifies the application with a sustainability assessment methodology to determine how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility into their business and management system. Categories evaluated include: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Through this evaluation, MRP earned a Bronze EcoVadis Medal. This places MRP among the top 30% of companies assessed by EcoVadis!
