Our Story
Plattsburgh, NY: Founded in 1976 with six full-time employees and five used injection-molding machines, Mold-Rite Plastics evolved into a full-scale, environmentally responsible manufacturing operation with plastic molding, lining and decorating capabilities. With the acquisitions of Weatherchem Corporation and Stull Technologies in 2012, MRP has a broadened footprint that further enhances the company's ability to lead the market as a trusted partner delivering responsive packaging solutions.
Weatherchem Corporation established itself in the packaging industry with its creative line of plastic dispensing closures for containers and bottles. Founded in 1971, Weatherchem created one of the industry's most well-regarded lines of dispensing closures, including the original Flapper® closure. Other brands in the Weatherchem family include LiquiFlapper®, NutraFlapper®, NutraGen II®, FlapMate®, SpiceGen II®, SpiceMate™ and MegaFlap®.
Since 1947, Stull Technologies has delivered unique and inventive packaging solutions. With products like the award winning Ultra Light® hinged liquid dispensing closure, along with trusted offerings including disc tops, twist caps, strap caps, open spout closures, the new flip lite and Flip-N-Squeeze® closures, we have a solution for your personal care, household chemicals and pharmaceutical packaging.
